Christmas Shopping Inspiration 10th November 2009

It may be because Ochre And Ocre have already done some Christmas Fairs, but it really feels like we are fast approaching Christmas, and there are cards to buy and presents to wrap!

Those of you who subscribe to our newsletter will already have been given some great inspiration from some of Ochre And Ocre's friends, like Sage Inspired By Life. With gorgeous photography, it is not hard to get inspired by this website, and for those of you lucky enough to be near Bristol, they have a shop too.

Our most recent subscriber offer was from Squeak, Gift And Party. The Squeak team have recently revamped their website, not only making it easier to use, but also widening their offer. Their childrens baking kits make really fun presents for young children.

But I thought it worthwhile pointing you in the direction of a few other sites for unique gift ideas, as well as our own range.

Jo Verity has made some gorgeous napkin rings for Ochre And Ocre, but it is well worth checking out her website for some lovely hand made jewellery and home accessories, including some really pretty tree decorations.

Glass On Glass also have some beautiful tree decorations, made from recycled glass, that will catch the light beautifully as they twirl. Their recycled glass coasters also have a real magpie element to them.

Naked Soap's range does exactly what it says on the tin - except from the fact they smell really lovely too! Handmade in the Cotswolds, using natural ingredients and essential oils. Stuck for a present for your pooch - their dog soap will have mutley looking glam on Christmas Day!

In our own range, our natural scented candles are fantastic value, whether you want the stronger smell of soy wax with essential oils, or the natural smell of beeswax.
